That first project went extremely well, and I’ve invited Mike and his crew back out for several subsequent rooms. In fact, I won’t consider using anyone else!
My family moved to Fishers two years ago and purchased new construction. My husband and I had done most of the painting ourselves in our previous home, but our new home is more than twice the size with intricate woodworking and other features like cathedral, vaulted, and tray ceilings. I wasn’t looking forward to the process of finding a painter in a town we hardly knew. I fully expected it to take at least a few tries to find someone we liked, but we had to get started somewhere!
I stopped in Sherwin Williams store to look at color samples and asked the manager to recommend a great local painter. He immediately gave me the number for Mike Byers of Cornerstone Painting and Drywall, and told me I would be in excellent hands. Their Angie’s List feedback seemed quite positive, so I asked Mike to come out to do an estimate for our master suite. The estimate was reasonable – a bit on the higher end of the spectrum, but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for when it comes to home services. The real reason I decided to give Cornerstone a try was because of Mike. He is personable and professional, and it was obvious within minutes of meeting him that he and I share the same high standard for quality.
That first project went extremely well, and I’ve invited Mike and his crew back out for several subsequent rooms. In fact, I won’t consider using anyone else! His finished product is always close to perfect – Mike will not leave the job (or ask for payment) until his client is fully satisfied. Mike and his crew are trustworthy and respectful of my home. I have had rooms painted while we’re out of town and don’t think twice about it. Mike is also an excellent communicator and thought partner. He not only takes the time to understand what I want in a specific room, he goes several layers deeper to understand the overall vision I have for my home. I highly recommend Cornerstone and will continue using them for all of my painting needs.
